Hunter Biden, son of US President Joe Biden, is at the center of a new scandal involving allegations of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior towards a young female assistant. Reports have emerged that Hunter threatened the cash-strapped assistant with withholding her pay if she didn’t comply with his demands for FaceTime sessions of a sexual nature.
The incident is said to have taken place in 2018 and 2019 when the woman was 29 years old and working as an assistant at Hunter’s law firm, Owasco. Texts and emails between Hunter and the assistant have come to light, showing that Hunter sent the woman money via Apple Pay after she expressed difficulty making rent. The woman is the fourth known employee to have been involved in a sexual relationship with Hunter.
Documents found on Hunter’s abandoned laptop also reveal that he hired family members, including his brother’s widow, and women with whom he had affairs, and placed them on the payroll of his company. This includes Hallie Biden and Liz Secundy. Hunter’s relationship with these women and his hiring practices are said to have raised concerns and have been flagged in Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) filed by JP Morgan Chase bank to the Treasury.
In 2018, Hunter flew the assistant from Los Angeles to Washington DC, and reportedly filmed and photographed her having sexual relations with him, saving the images on his laptop. The assistant, who is also a part-time model and fitness instructor, was given important administrative tasks at Hunter’s law firm, including receiving Burisma board documents for him to sign.
In January 2019, the assistant reached out to Hunter’s secretary, expressing concern about her missing December paycheck of $837.06 and inactive company health insurance. In response, Hunter sent the assistant $500 via Apple Pay, complaining about his own financial difficulties, but also expressing regret for how he had treated her.
However, things took a turn when Hunter demanded FaceTime sessions with the woman in exchange for paying her back pay. In the texts, he stated that the only rule during the video sessions would be that they had to be naked and that they had to do whatever the other person requested. The assistant, who was struggling financially, agreed to Hunter’s demands.
The messages and emails also reveal Hunter’s sexual comments and requests, including asking the assistant to “set her phone up so he could spy on her showering” and “show him how she played with herself.” Hunter is also said to have sent the assistant a total of $2,750 via Apple Pay.
The SARs obtained by right-wing transparency nonprofit Marco Polo list wire payments from Hunter or his company to the assistant in 2018, totaling $44,500.08. The report notes that the assistant received bi-weekly payroll remittances from Owasco, but also received large round-dollar wires referencing “new hire”, “8k wage”, “10k golf member,” and “Pay.” The report also lists other wires sent to recipients who have ties to the adult entertainment industry or have been listed in previous SARs related to human trafficking.
This latest scandal is sure to cause a stir, not just because of the shocking allegations against Hunter Biden, but also because of its timing. With his father, Joe Biden, serving as President of the United States, this is an issue that will likely attract a lot of attention and be closely scrutinized by the media and the public.
